Following Morgan’s visit to Set Visions, we sent Danny - our
technical manager - to Pix US. Both parties learned a great deal and it was invaluable
for the CGI experts to share their differing approaches. Discussions covered computer generated &
photographic imagery techniques, and project management - which is an integral
part of producing our remarkable high quality images.
The US team treated Danny to some local culture of beer
& baseball. The exchange has
benefited both branches greatly and ultimately will benefit our clients as we
diversify our production techniques, further integrate departments and converge
our approaches to CGI room set builds, compositions and trends.

Another successful day for Team
GB at Rio 2016. Team Set Visions are super proud of kayaker Joe Clarke
and synchronised divers Chris Mears and Jack Laugher for claiming Golds.
Silver medals came from the pool with Siobhan-Marie O’Connor and the men’s 4x200m
relay team, with Bronze for cyclist Chris Froome, shooter Steve Scott and
judoka Sally Conway. Our interior designers love the metallic lifestyle
trend, adding a winning touch to any set design.

Based around the Colour Block trend emerging across fashion and interior design worlds, graphic colour patterns liven up interiors with hints of the 60s and 70s. From music, to fashion, to interiors, there is a vivid collaboration of Retro with a thoroughly modern twist. The room set shouts ‘Modern-Meets-Retro’ with a bold, colour block feel for a fun, fresh room. Bold, angular shapes create a living room set with the sharp colours and props you’d expect in a functional, mid-century inspired room set design. It was key to use a combination of the retro sideboard furniture piece with a modern sofa make over, mixed with a new classic graphic rug.
The paint style was a feature wall with a mural of geometric shapes and lines. Our decorator masked off sections and selected four colours from the new retro range. No need for paintings or pictures with feature wall like this.
Set design by our in house photographic stylist Nina. Constructed in our photographic studio along with a variety of other lifestyle interior sets.

Here at Set Visions we're paying tribute to the
Olympic Gold medalist Adam Peaty, who smashed the 100m breaststroke world
Another winner, just minutes later from Team GB was Jazz Carlin who swam to
Silver in the Women's 400m freestyle.
Our CGI interior designers are fans of metallic lifestyle trends, with this
beautiful bathroom design worthy for both Silver and Gold winners.

Our sister company in North Carolina, PIX US, sent over
their CGI stylist Morgan for a visit - in
turn we despatched our home-grown Technical Manager, Danny, to taste a slice of
Morgan came over to meet the team, learn a few things along
the way and during her time here we discussed Pantone Home Interior Colour
Trends for 2017, shared ideas about global trends, future interiors and the mindboggling
possibilities of new technology within the CGI industry.
We made a thirst quenching expedition into Leeds and carried
on chatting into the night - after much creative conversation and dynamic
deliberation it was time to say “Farewell and Bon Voyage” and thank Morgan for
her insight into styling and design.
